What personal matchmaking means here
Most people on DA8N find their own way: they create a profile, discover people and start conversations. da8n VIP sits alongside that rather than replacing it. If you opt in, our matchmaking team may contact you when someone looking for a serious relationship or marriage could be a good match for you.
It is optional and it is off until you ask for it. Nothing about your profile, your discovery or your conversations changes if you leave it alone.
You decide who, and how you are contacted
Opting in is not a blank cheque. You choose who you would accept an introduction to, and you choose which routes our team may use to reach you.
We only ask for the contact details the routes you picked actually need. Choose email alone and you are never asked for a phone number.
- A message inside DA8N
- WhatsApp, if you give a number
- Email, if you give an address
- A phone call, if you give a number
Your permission is dated, and you can take it back
A standing invitation to be contacted is a permission, not a preference, so it is recorded with the date you gave it and it is never assumed.
You can withdraw it at any time from your profile, and withdrawing clears the dated consent along with the opt-in. Nothing is kept that could be read as though you had agreed once and never changed your mind.
Start with your profile
Create your free profile first and say what you are hoping to build — a serious relationship, love, marriage. Those details are what an introduction would be based on, so the more specific you are, the more useful they are.
You will be asked about personal matchmaking while setting up your profile, and you can revisit the choice afterwards. Look for the RealMe badge as you get to know anyone on DA8N, whether you met them through Discover or through an introduction.
Do I have to use a matchmaker to meet someone on DA8N?
No. DA8N works the same way whether or not you opt in, and the great majority of connections start with someone sending a first message themselves.
Will opting in mean somebody definitely contacts me?
No. Opting in tells our matchmaking team that you are open to being contacted if someone could be a good match. It is permission to get in touch, not a promise that anyone will.
